I don't know if they are still in business but try Cycleworks. I think they are in Wellington.....
As for the fork brace, not too sure about that one.... I know Micron, in the UK, did them years ago.....

I have Cycleworks pipes on my road LC. I did some before and after runs on my dyno, and from memory, got around 10% more power with a small drop in the midrange. I will dig it out if you want.
pros: Good value for money, solidly made and bolted up with no problems. Sound nice without being obnoxious. Good street pipes, and still fairly revvy and will rev past redline quite easily. in that respect they would suit a YPVS (RZ)
Cons: due to the centrestand and a fat belly section, they don't tuck in as tightly as they could do. The silencers are one -piece with the pipe. I would prefer removable ones to make repacking and repair easier. No doubt they could make them removeable if you asked.

Best pipes for RDs are Mick Abbeys in the UK, or Lomas pipes. Cost a packet though.

Custom Chambers makes (made) pipes as well, but I don't have any info on them.

TZ pipes will probably rev to high for an LC - you will knacker your crank unless you basically turn it into a TZ with a motoplat ignition and TZ silver cage bearings, and porting to match.

THe PB article on LC tuning is in my arcives if you want it.
Also, if you want to run it up in the dyno, drop me a line. I will be back in Auckland at the end of May, and permenantly at the end of the year.

I assume you are signed up for the Alec's RD forum?

thanks for that geoff, yes I keep checking alecs forum for parts, I'd be grateful for any info on tuning the lc you have, bought this lc about 8 years ago for the post classic racing but it siezed first time out at pukekohe with a cracked piston, I have aquired another 1 since for parts but have thought about making 1 a nice original road bike and an all out racer, I will contact cycleworks and customchambers and see what they can do for me, just got email back from a company in brazil 'wacs' that makes lc pipes for 148.00 us dollars, they are sorting out a price for shipping to me, got quotes of around $1000.00 to get a good set sent from the uk, so might try the brazil ones first if they can get them to here, I raced an lc in the F2 class in Ireland a long time ago now, it had tz crank and ignition, that really made a big difference with the 34mm carbs and tz pipes, thats what I'd like to replicate if I could, so let me know if you know where I could get any of the bits or if you know of any two stroke tuners, a tz would be nice but if 1 ever does come up these days they make big bucks, this lc is in pretty good nick and has'nt cost a packet yet, so I don't mind if I have to spend a bit now to get it to the spec I'd like, cheers for any help you can give....Randy

I would be REALLY interested to know more about the WACS pipes. The price is pretty sharp as well. The Cycleworks pipes were around $500/set. Remind me at the end of the month when I will be home again, where my archives are.
I have some links and stuff here, but our internet (Broadband - slower than dialup!) is soooo slooow i can't upload any attachments. Will try again later...
If you are using RZ/ banshee pistons, don't forget to file the tag off the bottom of the pistons.
If you are AUckland based, i have Blair's , Jennings, and Bell books. I also have Foales chassis bnooks, including the limited release version, signed by the author, and the sequel..
A good resource is the 2 stroke mailing list. Others include Macdizzy.com, www.tz350.com and www.rd350lc.net
