Or rather, I tried to.
There I was, walking amongst the stores, trying to find a copy of one of the all-time cinematic greats. That's right - those of you that know me will be amazed, for I was actually willing to part with my own money in return for a DVD of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. It's one of the few
movies that my several-thousand-strong collection lacks, but for a movie of this quality, I was willing to actually pay for it.
And yet no store would sell it to me. Even the Warehouse told me that there was not a single copy in any of their stores in the Auckland region. They had copies of the new trashy abomination, the Crystal Skull. They had copies of the Temple of Doom. They even had copies of Raiders. But none of them carried the best of the lot. Clearly, their stores were judged unworthy.
Fuck you, capitalism.
I'm going back to piracy.
