"No matter what bike you ride. It's all the same wind in your face"
Year 2oo9 was good to me. May 2o1o be even better.
Happy New Year, fellow bikers! Be safe.
"People are stupid ... almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule
Been to parties just like that, just not this decade. (Although give it time it has only been 17 75 hours.
New Plymouth was great for that sort of stuff because all the best parties were walking distance and had plenty or ratty sofas to sleep over.
Auckland is just too far to walk and the hosts turn you out on your arse at 4 bells.
The surf club was great but not so much on the pranks.
Best Auckland party I attended resulted in a few shaved eyebrows and a few pen marks.
The best Naki party ended in a car inside a fence without a gate to go out.
Although I did hear about a party at a football club that ended with a tractor at the top of the hill with the trig station out by Ngamutu. Carried up in pieces and reassembled there.
