Bloody nice. Much better quick reply. Bike trader is how it should have always been. Very nice layout. Blue and white is ghey, but that will change shortly.

Will take a bit of getting used to, but all round good.

Doesn't appear to have the black words in the new posts separating the threads that have been posted in since you last logged in from the older ones (that may not make sense)

Looks good Spank - the Ajax elements seem much more integrated now rather than hacked on which was the impression they gave before. This probably isn't a bug, but it does affect the the primary way that I tended to manage my threads so I will mention it here. There may be a more appropriate way for me to get the same end result - if so I am more than open to modifying my behaviour.

I used to go into the advanced search and search for my name in the "User Name" field. It would return all of the threads that I had started or posted in. The threads were ordered by most recent posts. The search still returns all of the threads I have started or posted in; however, they are now in alphabetical order. That makes it less useful to me. I guess the alternative for me is to subscribe to every thread that I post in and see if the subscriptions page is listed in last-modified order rather than alphabetical. Even if I change my usage though - I can still see it being more useful to sort the returned results by modifcation date rather than by thread title. Imagine searching on somebody that has been around for a few years.

I also can't quite figure out the thread icons. Some are blue some are orange, some are grey. Whether the "skip to last unread post" knob is displayed doesn't seem to correlate to any particular colour. Is there a key somewhere?

Yeah, I didn't get tool tips on them. I am using Firefox 3.5.4 under ArchLinux (x86_64) for the record.

Showing threads you haven't viewed from before your last visit has been dropped. Might be put back in future releases.

The new Dark theme is a hell of an improvement over the old one. Something similar for the Light side would be great cos the default is not all that user friendly.

I'm not sure how it compares to the old one, but it's definitely better than the current LightZone for NIGHTIME use (I'm somewhat indifferent during the day). One comment I would make though is that the stripped background is a little hard on the eyes - particularly on a larger monitor.
