Cheers CD team, good job. Good mix of people and bikes.

It was quite tiring sitting back in my chair watching Glen & co tearing his bike to bits after every session, as they prepared for the nationals later this month. good luck.

My hard luck thoughts must go to Mike (I think), one of the three supermoto bikes, who brought his Husky SMR up and on the sighting lap had (what appeared to have been) a clutch basket finger break and punch a fist size hole in the crankcase...bugger to say the least, packed up and ready to go home before 10 AM. 10 points to CD for a refund after one lap or so, even though he said he didn't expect it, but did say it would pay for the beer to drown his sorrows as he contemplated the cost of repairs.

Pleased to hear that everyone seemed to have a lot of fun and it sounds like the day was relatively incident-free - well, nothing that involved serious injury to bike or rider anyway. It was great to have a fine day after a week of dire weather forecasts.

We're usually pretty fair when someone has mechanical problems early on, especially when it's a case of something that couldn't really have been foreseen. We don't normally give refunds to anyone who crashes due to pushing themselves too far, but if there is a major bike problem within the first session, then we are prepared to look at offering a refund.

Cheers Guys for the day. Just good to have a nice cruise going around in circles. Good to catch with the locals again.
Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

Yes, CDMC has refunded me after I failed to complete one lap before seizing. 2 of us were sharing one bike and they refunded one of us completely which I thought was awesome of them and totally unexpected. Shame my bike needs a new head and piston after Taupo or I would've been out there. what was the weather like?

Im asuming this flyer that i picked up has something to do with it......
" Photos from this weekend will be online at www.eventphoto.fotopic.net"

At points of the day where i wasnt giving the speed triple a sound thrashing, i spent a bit of time on entry to toyota with a camera. was only taking pics of three bikes though (crappy small memory cards)

As for being legends for turning up early, guys, get a life! If you want to spend nearly two and a half hours sitting around waiting for us to get our shit together, you need to get out more!
