Thanks guys for a very professionally run days entertainment.
I was a bit worried about not being able to pre book and doubly so when we turned up at 8:00am and saw the size of the queue but things turned out OK.
Good value.

Being that the trackday is so popular and ppl missed out last time, when your travelling distance I guess ppl want to ensure they do not miss out, from what I understand there was quite a crowd lined up waiting before 7am .. At least it shows dedication and determination not to miss out ..
And from Balzys grin that evening I would say he would deem it totally worth it

for your information we do have a life, how ever we look foward to these events and have to travel some distance to the track.unlike some we can get up early...after all you were a no show anyway.i think you need to get a life if you have time to go on line and criticize other people for having fun..
BALZY RULES US
Yes, but 6.15am is a tad early when nothing happens until we start dealing with the public at 8.30am. People certainly didn't miss out at our last track day as that was the one where the person doing the counting had a memory lapse and more than 120 got entered.
I wasn't criticising you for having fun, I was pointing out that turning up at 6.15am for an event that doesn't get underway until 8.30am is a little overenthusiastic. As for me being a no-show this time, I've been at virtually every one of our track days since 1999 and due to the fact I had an accident before Christmas (not bike related), I couldn't be at this one. Some of our club members do work behind the scenes and some of them turn up and help at the track days - that's the way most clubs work. I certainly wasn't the only club member not there on the day.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!
Yeah its early for sure, however it was strongly stipulated only 120 bikes would be let through the gate given how popular it was last yr (from memory over 180 bikes turned out) a number of ppl did not want to miss out.. there were ppl who travelled 5 hours & also there early so they did not make a wasted trip.
I was gutted to be working & miss out .. but got day off for the next one,and being the social event these days are will prob make the most of it as well. With doing crash & marshalling at races there is not always the time to have a good natter with friends so use the trackday to do this, n heard this sure was the case before 7am last sat

Another well run event Sat just gone, the 7th. Beaut weather and everyone pretty well behaved.
Hope the person on the Honda is ok after their whoopsie at the hairpin ? (I saw it in the mirror).
$60 bucks well spent.
