Ok so you've done about 3000 kms in the past 2 months.... and you've got your restricted....... so you are over 25?? got through CBTA??Originally Posted by Jeremy
And if you're over 25... then I assume you've had a bit of experience on the road...... know what to look out for..... that sort of stuff...
I say do come. It will be a great experience for you and you will learn a lot by looking at the pros. Who are all very helpful people...... cos they've helped me heaps.
Anyway I'm in unless it hails. I'll probably be the one who misses the BP turn off in the first place and ends up in Hamilton.
EDIT: In response to above post.
Nope, I'm 18. I've done 3000km due to Uni. I only did about 500km in the 3 months before that as I was getting used to riding. I'd had my learners for a month or so before I got my bike, as I decided to wait until after exams. And since I'd spent the past year and a half saving for the bike I could last another month.
That's a bit of riding you've done there Jeremy. Start coming on a few KB rides and you'll probably double that rate. I've done nearly 6000kms on my newish bike now, only owned that for 7 weeks. I commute to work 5 days a week and usually ride on Saturdays. :spudwave:Originally Posted by Jeremy
Oh if you do that just head to my place and you can let me ride your bike.Originally Posted by Jeremy

Anyway I'll leave from the Manukau BP (The one on the corner of redoubt and the great south road) at 8:30, which'll leave me plenty of time to get to the Papakura BP. If someone wants to go out of their way to show me the way then thanks, but I "should" be fine.
You ride quick for a noob JSG! I remember being held up behind you a few times on that wet ride down 22.Originally Posted by justsomeguy
