Sweet as, thanks for that. Looks like that is my next move.

I have to force myself not to play with it. But at the moment it at least does 120km and i am on my L plates.

Hehe, yeah I'm on my L-Plates too, have had it up to around 140,overtaking. I do find it get's rather loud after 8k,I'm gonna get me some earplugs.

The Red Top motors are very rare, yours is only the second I've seen, the mechanic did say it's not good to have those, but I don't care,I like having something rare..

"The GJ77A model comes with optional variable exhaust valve timing to boost midrange. You can tell these models by the red cam cover and the distinctive noise when 10,000 rpm is hit."

Now i know why it makes a rumble noise at 10K haha

Rare is good, why would it not be good to have them? parts?

Good one Skinny. Hope you get your your bike problems sorted, sounds like it could be a carb problem. Find the manual online, print it out and get cracking!

I'm pretty new to biking and have found ripping out the 4 carbs of my zxr (and then successfully cleaning and re-installing them) to be almost as satisfying as riding the damn thing!

Keep watching the newbies thread for rides. There's a few of us who try and organise impromptu rides on the weekends.

Yeah man be into ride with guys on here. Im all about impromptu.

The problem is my bikes specifically for the Japan domestic market so manuals are hard to find and are in Japanese. The hunt continues i have found bits and bobs but nothing about carbs yet.
