I can hear them little engines seizing from here........
They don't like to get too hot, ya need a cool down period every couple of hours. Sounds like an endurance test more than anything, good luck.
I hear stolen ones run quite well!

You are totally wrong!
The only ones that melt are the ones that people stuff with (read, try to hot up). As it is, if you leave well alone, they are fine for 6 hours.

The course is designed to allow the engines to cool sufficiently to last the 6 hours.... and actually promote good riding ability, rather than out right machine speed.... The NS1 was actually beaten by better riders on an A50.... Oh, and a couple of guys on a Dio I think it was once...

We have had 5 mopedathons at Ohakea, and all of them have been very sucessful. They are the brain child of username "lee" (he is ex UK) if you want to talk to the man who is responsibile for it all.....

Sadly NZDF only at this time..... Watch out for the future when we can have it in a public place though.
There are many who would be keen. Entry will be lots more than the $10 we pay (for fund rasing) though.... due to all sorts of things...
