    Used Continental RaceAttacks

    Gidday guys,

I have a variety of used racing tyres from the last season and this winter.

I have got only ONE front tyre - it is a 120/70-17, in very good nick. It has done a day and a half on the track, and tread depth is still great. It is a SOFT compound. Used it a couple of times through this winter. Photo of this one is the FIRST below. $100 for that one.

    In the rears, size 190/55-17,

I have four in good nick. I have two Medium compound, and two Soft compound. See the second photo below for an example of good nick. $120 each.

I have two in average condition, both of these are SOFT compound. See the third photo for an example of these. These ones look quite good (no surface tearing) but they are getting lower on tread depth. Not sure about warrants, but still plenty of grip and a few track days in them. $75 ONO each for these ones.

And finally, I have two rears which I am classing as phucked. They may be good for some burnouts, or you could do half a day at the track perhaps, but it wouldn't feel too great I wouldn't think. See fourth photo for an example of these ones. Offers on these ones.

I am in Christchurch and am happy for anyone on here to come round and have a look at them, maybe even make an offer... Need to sell these desperately to try and fund some of this season I can ship them around the country fairly easily (at extra cost). If you PM I can send individual photos of the tyre you may be interested in.

I do recommend coming to have a look, you might find a bargain. And for $10 I can even mount them to rims for you.

    Cheers, Jay

I'd say go for gold, but it depends on what you want. It's going to speed your steering up, but then all of the 600's we are racing are a 180/55 stock. I reckon it's the way foward and would fit one...My R6 (that these tyres come off) is a 2006 model, and I would definitly fit one - the bike feels way better to me with a 190/55.

Alright, the front and one of the good rears is gone, so it is just a selection of rears left now

I would be interested in a couple of good rears please, prefer 2 medium, but a med and soft would be ok also. Can you please advise shipping costs to Auckland?

I do have only one good medium left now, which is the exact tyre in pic two above. I can take a couple of decent photos of the softs, and let you take your pick from them?

I will have to check shipping costs at work on tuesday, but I THINK if I use PBT I can do it for $40. Cos thats ridiculous (damn shipping companies)and you would be buying two, i'd do two good rears, and the freight, for $250 altogether.

Mount a tyre to your rim for that money...It'd probably fit too

Sounds good thank you. No need for photos, you say they are good, I'm sure they are.
Can you please flick me a message with account details and I'll reply with address details.
