Still not a lot of performance, BUT these things go sideways, backwards, nose in, tail in, tailwalk, the whole shitload, and are grrreat for scaring your passengers. Awesome fun on a river bar - be careful jumping big waves tho..

Can you imagine the havoc if 5000 people towing trailers turn up to parliament? Of the carnage. Wait till everyone has to reverse. Ahhhhh.

Heres a jet ski and bike all in one.... ride down to the beach and straight out into the surf, just drop your towel on the sand on the way.

Yeah, I have been looking at those too. More sensible than a ski but still with reasonable power compared to boats of a similar size.

jetskis are a fucken pain in the arse most of the ones i see are ridden by people who have no idea of the water rules or dont care, imagine some fuckwit on a trailbike racing around the streets at any speed they feel like doing totally ignoring the road rules playing chicken with cars and trucks. If you asked everybody staying near a lake or boating what the biggest nuisance was they would say jetskis, apart from the jetski people themselves who wouldnt give a fuck, every year a few manage to kill themselves or others

Be careful. I have learned a lot about rebuilding these things and many are a disaster waiting to happen. Certain models are nicknamed grenades, and for good reason. Don't pay too much - count on having to fix the thing sometime soon. Low hours means absolutely nothing.

Stay away from Seadoo 951 engines. I am new to jetskis too but have learned a lot recently. Parts are very expensive - if there is proof of a recent rebuild - probably good if an old model. New 4 strokes - some say they will last a lot longer than 2 strokes but from what I can tell, those engines are just as prone to explode - 255hp, supercharged, flat out - off course they will blow up,at treble the cost. My advice is only get one if you can fix them, and start with an older one, with the aim of rebuilding it. Get a runner and give it a rebore for starters. If you aren't willing to fix them, don't get one, unless you are rich. Personally, I am developing a liking for Kawasaki over Seadoo - I think / I guess, they put more into their development.

If you're passing, feel free to drop in and take a look at mine. North Shore.
