my boss is going through the whole ACC thing at the moment, when he went in to see them he was talking to a trainee case manager who let slip that she was tought to try and fob people off from taking acc, and to try and draw the process out past the 6 week mark because the average injury only last for 6 weeks, he also had problems getting paid, the amounts were different every week,. they are more than happy to take your money, but just like any insurance company they always look for a way out.
