throughout KB but moreso in the mechanics forum there are a lot of threads that are on the first page but may be as much as a month old where they have been abandoned by the original poster without stating the outcome/solution of the problem.

Posting in these threads just dredges them up to the top, which seems rather silly when the thread starter should have a subscription anyway.

SO, is it possible to post in a thread without bumping it to the top of the forums? We'd just need a checkbox like the delete post one, and possibly some fundamental changes to vb4....
