Bugs stuck on your visor is one thing but ...

this is something that would be hard to overlook:

A Japanese woman has been arrested after driving for four miles with the body of an 80-year-old pensioner lodged in her car windscreen.

Michiko Sato struck the elderly woman in the early hours of Sunday morning, but continued the drive to her home north of Tokyo.

Police called at the 23-year-old's home to find the body still sticking out of the car's shattered windscreen.

It was only when Sato's boyfriend reported the incident to the police that she was arrested.

"The suspect said she was so shocked that she didn't know what to do," a police spokesperson said.

The catering school student was charged with causing a traffic accident resulting in death and leaving the scene of an accident.

If convicted, Sato faces up to 17 years in prison or a fine of up to £13,500.

What a weirdo - she deserves it. Wonder if she was texting at the time

Not nice for the old lady though. Although one would think she should be tucked up in her warm bed......

Sounds like their penalties are a bit more realistic than here, too.

I read that and thought...hell that is pretty callous....the old lady may have still been alive and died on the way. Disgusting. I do feel for the young girl....how freaking frightening and now she's off to jail for quite some time!!!!!

Fatmax and I had close shaves yesterday, both times involving female drivers. A woman u turned in front of me 3 years ago too.... I dont wish to sound the misogynist(woman hater) but I wonder sometimes. To keep driving is cruel but I guess this japanese girl will plead temperary insanity, after collecting the pensioner.

Leaving the scene of an accident? She took it home with her and put it in the garage...

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
