I dont know anything about that incident but i think the yellow flag rule in general needs to be looked at, there needs to be something with say a stationary flag to say someone has crashed but there is no real need to slow down just be a bit carefull and you can still pass lappers but not for position and then maybe a waived yellow and that means slow down and be real carefull and no passing even lappers theres prob gonna be a red anyway....

At the moment i cant imagine in any form of m/c racing your gonna see the guy in front follow a guy being lapped who has slowed down thats already 10secs a lap slower then him for a whole section of yellow. Another flag should also be used like a blue flag on the first lap of practice, no one really obeys the rules of a yellow on the first lap and its sorta being used for the wrong purpose and if someone does crash like at the nats on the weekend your not expecting to see an R1 laying in the middle of the track... Of coarse i was ready because i was obeying the flag....

For my 2 cents worth, Stroudy was following the rules on the day to the letter. He knew and understood the rule clearly. I think you are being harsh in your attack on Andrew. Even after the event, there were still competitors that were unsure about the supplementary rules.
If anyone should have been persecuted so intensely as you mention, it should have been the people that brought in the ridiculous rule change for this one event. Safety was obviously not a factor in instigating the change!

I apologise if anybody saw that as a personal attack on Stroudy,The fact is I would have said the same of Tony had the positions been reversed and in fact would expect a similar penalty if I was to do the same thing
