Wellington New Years KB Rally

The Wellington KB New Years Rally

Where: Ocean Beach - 40km south of Featherston

When: Starting from the 30th (maybe earlier). Main thing being on New Years Eve (well duh)

Everyone welcome

BYO food and drink unless pre-arranged.

Directions:

Ocean Beach - Turn off at Featherston onto Cross Creek Road, which will then become Western Lake Road. Follow Western Lake Road which will then become Wharekauhau Road. Follow Road down valley and over bridge, where Wharekauhau Road then becomes Western Bay Road (which is the road going along the beach). About 5k's down the beach will be some baches to your right, and some large fishing boats to your left. About 200m on your right is the DOC campsite, where we will be. Just look for the bikes, or watch for the stunt man riding around on the beach.

Just to note, the road along the beach is gravel, however it is quite compacted and easy to ride over as it is not on the beach itself (The ZX10 Glides Across

).

No.. That was a bad idea.. Better yet.. Im sure some people would of enjoed it if we got home and told them you had fallen off a cliff face and we lost ya..
