    Bachman or Cummings

Those that are old enough will remember The Guess Who.
Two members of the band (Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings) went on to have successfull careers outside The Guess Who. Bachman Turner Overdrive had a few more hits than Cummings did granted but, for me, I would rather listen to a Burton Cummings song than a BTO tune.
Would the general consensus be that Bachman went on to be the more successfull?

Pah! Bachman turned out to just be Stephen King in disguise...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Cummings had hits with the 'slower' song.

While Bachman kept the tempo up.

Having overdrive after your name is just plain cool.

But give me Bad Company anyday.

    Awww Man....

I remember "Break it to them Gently" blasting out of the speakers of the AM radio (1ZH) in the back of the old man's XY Fairmont as we rolled back from Vegas after dinner out at Pizza Hut as a treat for us kids.

    Good times

Nostalgia sure ain't what it used to be....

First time I took a girl out was to a Bad Company gig. Remember the show, don't recall her name.
    Obviously didn't score.

I have a BTO CD - Not Fragile. Actually I also have a double one - best of BTO.

Not Fragile is still pretty cool now, all those years later.

Mind you somewhere in the shed is a vinyl copy of Rod Stewart's Atlantic Crossing.

People often comment on my varied music collection.

Only yesterday I was listening to Planet Clare on the i-pod travelling home. And I'm going to have to come up with $17 for i-tunes to download a copy of Devos Are We Not Men?

Yeah - it was a long running gag at the time that the best of BTO was a double album. Considering they only had one hit. B-b-b-b-baby.

    We are not men. D-E-V-O
