    Scrivy, ? for you

    # thread was posted on here by Bob, so can be edited by him, to not slander a great brand of Chair

    # And there was only 2 rounds in the sth

    # would you post a copy of the sent letter then of the Highlighted issues, so this thread is all fair and full of facts to all parties?

And yes, another 8-10 teams would have gone south for only two rounds.

    # as there were 2 rounds only, why did they not then?

I believe that the 3 round idea was put forward, with the idea of being able to drop your worse round? Is this also lies by some one?

Oh dear, you havent been listening regarding the two rounds, three rounds thing. Ive got girl guides now so will let Scrivy go over that one AGAIN.
Regarding the first post, it was pulled from another thread, & for reasons i cant explain i am unable to edit my first two posts on this thread, although if i could, wether i would is debatable.
Although if you read on to later posts, you will also read what i really think of them (LCR's), which is very complimentary.

    Hi Shaun,
It originally started life in a different thread. Bob probably can't be arsed to edit it. Some honda riders call Suzukis gay, and Kick calls us homos - I guess each unto their own.

    # And there was only 2 rounds in the sth
Like I said, not all the facts have been put on the table. A threatening letter from Tuckerman told us 3 MUST be completed for a championship. As does the rules.
Yes only 2 rounds were completed in the end - another reason why so many teams are pissed.

    # would you post a copy of the sent letter then of the Highlighted issues, so this thread is all fair and full of facts to all parties?
All in due course Shaun. Its officially from the NZSRA to MNZ and co. No-one should be privy to it until there is dialogue from both parties. A reply has still not been received after 2 weeks.

And yes, another 8-10 teams would have gone south for only two rounds.
    # as there were 2 rounds only, why did they not then?
Due to the fact that certain individuals knew it was only 2 rounds afterall - all the remaining teams were never told it was only 2! Still no communication from MNZ on this matter, and certainly no dispensation received by the NZSRA executive.

I believe that the 3 round idea was put forward, with the idea of being able to drop your worse round? Is this also lies by some one?
Once again, someone asked for it at our AGM on October 31st. You know full well Shaun that changes to our rules, or remits must be in to MNZ offices way prior to their AGM in May! and then it only applies to the following year. The idea is absurd, as no one would go to the furtherst (or last - or first round), and as a result the affected club would have no entries at closing date - far too close to the event to try and source another class at short notice!! Who wants a club to knowingly lose money?? They don't make money now!! Imagine if a club promoted superbikes or whatever class, and then none showed up!! Ridiculous!

    Hope this answers your questions.

They are horny, but just don't do it for me. Too sterile and temperamental. I'm too lazy to work on things at race meetings, and by the looks of it, you have to adjust stuff all day long.
I think MotoGP bikes are horn too, but I also prefer Superbikes.

8-10 teams?, name them, we get told that every year and every year a lot less than what we're told turn up

Yes it was shaun , a lot of ideas have been put forward at the sidecar agm's over the years some get voted through & some not. I think this one only got a couple of votes. This rule was never intended for people to not attend an event. You are expected to attend every round in a race series and this rule would allow you to drop a round, usually when DNF occurs. You can see this rule used in classes where reliability can be an issue, something like class 1 offshore power boats. Some people may remember Gary west & Ash Voice (Who are both friends of mine I'm not slagging them off) also putting forward this idea in the early nineties. It didnt get voted in then either.
The main point is if 90% (e.g only) of people vote against a given idea / rule at a meeting, no matter what it is you have to conceed that your idea is not popular with the majority. I along with a lot of other people have had ideas that have not been popular or voted through, thats just the way it works & it must remain a majority vote. I dont know what the for & against vote at the agm on the south island series was, (Someone must have the minutes) But the majority vote was for eveyone to enter the first two rounds and have two well supported rounds, & no one enter the third round. Sounds simple!!

I was at the TT in 2007 Shaun & saw your crash marks outside the railway hotel, so understand the head injury, how the fuck you lived

I thought you'd be knowledgeable on the MNZ constitution Kick? Search MNZ's website.

I've heard that said on numerous occasions but have yet to see any hard evidence to prove it
It'll come out in the wash dude.

That's rubbish Kick. You know a mandate was given to the executive by the teams that could have gone south. You were south, so were not in that group. When MNZ finally reply, all members will be sent a copy. Also, the group meeting at Paeroa will be shown the letter. It's at the executive level at the moment, you know that.

Well all of them should be writing to MNZ and giving them a serve, 16 letters look a lot better than 1
Not true. That's why we belong to an Association. The executive communicate on our behalf for all members. One voice for the entire affilliated club.

8-10 teams?, name them, we get told that every year and every year a lot less than what we're told turn up
They were documented at the AGM.

8-10 teams documented at the AGM, so that would have included Bron and the Pirate, which leaves 6-8 of whch 1/4 would have been a no show going by previous years, so about 4-6 teams in reality

Kick ,stop assuming. I said another 8-10 teams would have gone south (not including those that already put their hands up). I also said it was documented, so what is your issue??

You can document whatever you like, you know that by the time Nationals roll around and the teams front up that number would have dropped

So what's the group meeting at Paeroa?
