Tinted Visor

during summer my tinted visor dosn't come off, clear glasses for riding at night, but i tend to use it less in winter when the nights are longer, and it's farkn cold having your visor up

Pretty much always carry two visors, obviously a tinted and a clear for the appropriate times of the day, got put off wearing any kind of glasses by a mate who happened to have some pics of what sunglasses can do to your face in an accident if you're unlucky enough, think about it, metal/glass/plastic right next to your eyes....

is it not better to use a clear visor and sunglasses so when it gets dark your not stuck with a tinted lens? im new to this so could be wrong.

Not if your sunglasses have polarising lenses...

Yeah im a cheap prick also, I have blue insualtion tape along the top of my clear visor. Works a treat, a couple of other have followed suit.
I have a tinted visor but hardly use it.

Yeah - I have this on my clear visor as well...'cept my tape is black...

I have to wear prescription lenses...too cheap to shell out for prescription sunnies. So it's tinted visor for me, just have to make sure I'm back home before dark

I dont know how people ride with clear visors at all... I must have very light sensitive eyes.

wearing sunglasses underneath so when you take the helmet off you dont' get the glard thing making you go blind....maybe???
