    Manfeild test days

    Hey,

Can anyone tell me anything about these 'testdays open to competition cars and bikes' that they run at Manfeild? There's one on firday that i was thinking of going to but its followed by a day of car racing so im guessing the test day will be packed with serious racing cars and perhaps not a bike friendly day.

Is anyone else here going to the one on friday?

    cheers all!

$100.00 for Test Day with what has already been said 20 minutes cars then 20 mins bike and so on from 9.00am-4.00pm with gates opened from 8.00am. U usually get about 3 sessions in the morning and 3 in the afternoon so plenty of track time to be enjoyed.

    Yup...
And for some reason I find myself heading in the other direction of late!

Can't afford the new pads anyway..... 'cos to do it properly it will mean new rubber both ends, and... and ... Then there is me trashing my only mode of transport again...

Ahhh, hey bro. Lolz I was trying to think who lives in Wanganui who knows me.

The day at Manfeild today was abit of a farce. The organisers turned all the bikers away because they needed the whole day to cater for the millionaires running about in their C6R Corvettes and Porsche GT3s....

As a sweetener the dude let me go out on track for ten minutes before the cars went out so atleast i got a wee ride on the bike to see what it handles like etc etc. Had the whole track to myself which was abit weird.

We all got a 'free trackday' to be taken in future as compensation too so its not a total loss. In fact the weather turned to absolute s**t and just kept getting worse so i guess things happened for the best afterall.

I went home, unpacked my stuff then went out to work for the rest of the day...

It was cool to meet and talk to the other riders - i hope to see you all on the another testday soon.
