    Licence back on the 4th

I should be there next week as I get my license back on the 4th

Oh I was trawling YouTube for Vids of NZ biker Rally's and I stumbled upon last years Thunderbike rally, to Whitianga.

Take a look and see who it is at 2:22

    Question

Thanks for the ride and sorry I had to bail at Puke. Should be a good way for my brother-in-law to start getting some confidence with his newly found license.

That's what we are about. Egos should be left at home. There were some very competent riders in last nights ride but you may not of picked them out as we were keeping an eye out for everyone in the ride.
    Pity you didn't stay on.
I managed to get my balls out - for the first time this year. We all admitted we were a bit rusty on the carpark exercises (where I set up the balls for some counter-steering and braking).
Then on to the pub where we talked heaps of shit as well as some interesting stuff.

Tight cornering is where I need some skills.

it was one of the best organised group rides i've ever had the pleasure of doing...and yes the lil dude was extremely popular with the whole group...i forget how many but between 100 - 200 after hamilclown and no incidents the whole trip...if you're thinking of doing a weekender this is a great one to lose your virginity on...
lil antidote took out the biggest prize of the weekend...a brand new Ferrari...well a ride homme from school in one...
sorry i missed u guys i'll be turning up once dude is back at school and things settle this term at work...looking forward to seeing maakz, sis, tigs, mr gibbo, mr fish et al...
until we see u again please ride safe, have fun and don't hesitate to pop in for a coffee...just txt me to make sure i'm home...flat whites, lattes or long blacks are free for fellow aSASSin's...pm me for number if you don't have it....
and in support of sis...you'll see us early at the helicopter run coming up...rain or shine...

Definitely can help you there, we will...

Riderskills also offers excellent formal training too, talk to Phil if you get the chance.

I have been thinking and instead of a ride next week, what say we do Twilight Road and West Road, round and round, focussing just on cornering.
You would get some up hill practise and then some down hill control.
I would recommend buddying up - that is doing it in 2's, one following and then commenting, before switching and being the lead. So bring along a riding buddy if you want.

I am eagerly looking forward to everyone's thoughts....

I like the idea Sis just not the location. Maybe Skyhigh Rd? Twilight is to tight for it I think.

I will try to be there next week if life allows. I have a few ideas for this from things ive been learning at the track.
