Every day above ground is a good day!:
This coming wednesday will be the last SASS for this year
On the way home last week, I came across a car that had rolled, on Lambie Drive. Couldn't figure out how they had managed to do it. Parked it on the roof. Glass everywhere. Luckily it was all on the other side of the road from me
Looks like I'll be able to make the ride tonight - and it's looking like a pearler of an evening for a ride! See you all at the Shell Station around 7 pm.
Enjoy the ride everyone, many thanks Jayne and Howard for helping out my little lady, she is much more confident and capable on her bike these days and I can only attribute it to your combined skills in conveying knowledge to other riders.
Neither of us could make it tonight, so wishing all the regulars a Merry Christams anda happy New Year.

So.... I was SASS tonight.
Did everyone forget?
Went for a west rd/twilight rd/ hunua rd royal sampler. A lot of sunstrike unfortunately
I was at the car park (cos I was running late)
Andrew turned up, after doing Twilight Road thru to Regis and back down Redoubt. He wasn't as late as me but got to the meeting place just after 7. I was soooo late that I didn't even try.
We had a bit of practise in th ecar park and then played "Sticks" where we try to put them down that tube while riding the bike. I need a lot more practise yet on that one.
Cool, looking forward to SASS 2011.
P.S: Mark's a dad![]()
yep - was pretty easy in the endwell it was for me anyway
Things are under control and was allowed to ride both Saturday and Sunday just gone

Looking forward to the resumption of SASS in the new year.
Time to think about SASS again.
We have a few commitments in our house but will be able to start in February.
So Wednesday 2nd February its back on.
We will meet at the Shell Service Station which is near the roundabout at the back of Papakura town, by the pools.
7 pm we leave the Shell, heading for some good roads, before getting to the carpark in Manukau
Do any under 20s ever turn up to these things?
Yes! OK, no. Least not yet. Welcome to come along and see whats happening, decide from there, the men and women of the SASS are a great bunch and you will learn something even if all you do is rdie with them for a while.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
