Not really explored the roads down here. Not enough hours in the week with 2 under 2. Now that the weather has turned and there are less cars on the road I might just have to start taking some alternative routes home with the extra 15 to 30 minutes a day.

Glad you mananged to save it. Would've been a shame to be tossing that sweet Honda down the road. Always a fright slipping on white lines.

If it helps any: with over 1/2 a million kms under my belt I still wash the front occasionally.
Much like a stage performance, you can wing it and sometimes your good, or you can rehearse, have action plans for disaster and have a better survival rate with smaller "bites out of the seat" when it does tuck.
I hit a tar bleed mid corner this morning, there are thousands on the road to the motorway from my house, so not worth trying to dodge them all, I just pick the best line and stay prepared for a little correction.

Plenty of room left to run wide so you get to just remain calm, correct slightly and carry on.

Big Dog - Sorry mate, but hopefully we'll catch you next time on...

    Eldog - Congrats mate!

xXBIGBOLXx - Whoa! A sphincter says what?

White lines aside, gotta look out for them oil slicks on the roads, yo! This morning I saw what must have pissed out from a diesel-chugging elephant as it walked down the road or else some dirty stinkin' truck/bus/4x4 leaking its fuel all over!

Do you mean when it is running

we have all heard the stories that Harleys are unreliable

    So shouldn't be any contest.

( I must insert here that this is all piss take here incase you don't know the ethos at SASS is that we help each other and racing doesn't fit)

Brakes only work when the front wheel is on the ground.
