Traffic home last night was feckin' 'orrible! Wish I'd taken the bike so I can get through traffic easier!

...But I needed the car for work and dropping kids to school.

Old Lenny 'Lecher' Brown should stop thinking trains and thinking more of accommodating motorcycles and reducing congestion!

Last night's ride home wasn't that bad actually I thought. This morning was worse but still not as bad as last month's horizontal rain that we had a couple days of.

Made it to work but will be riding home in soggy gloves and boots. Not wanting to stay too long in those. Might watch twist of the wrist again at home tonight instead!

    arent motorcycles unsafe ?

there needed to be far more infrastructure etc for trains, installed a long time ago, something like the Paris or Berlin Metro, but AKL too vast

I used to walk to school in the rain

In the last 13 years I have taken a car instead of a bike because of the weather 2-3 times. Always because of cargo rather than self. E.g a server that does not belong to me.
I have worked from home instead 2 times.
I have cycled instead about 24 times.

Weather is a matter of attitude.

To be fair my bike is in bits and the Hornet is sold. My excuse any way.

I think the attitude of the weather sucks and needs to have a really good think about itself...
Last night the traffic was so shit i even stopped before leaving manix and had a fag...took me an hour to do a 20 minute trip...
The rain isn't bugging me so much...its those bloody phantom drips down the back of the neck that wind me up...get home and tripple check, dry as...but i do need some new gloves...mite buy me some once i give up smoking...yay...
Millenia falcon lights are freakin awesome...
Anyways ride safe and see you all on the otherside ofthe large rain drop

Stuck at work but wouldn't venture out tonight anyhow, going soft in my twilight and prefer comfort over the frustration of riding when its pissing down whilst similtaneously trying to dodge psychotic Aucklanders. Be safe out there this week and don ur caution goggles. If any of you have a mind to, check this out - RATS Riders Against Teen Suicide ride to Opotiki

put in my new throttle cable and put my bike back together..... my rev limiter is now 13k rpm it breaks up really badly and suddenly, it sounds like a misfire I think, so my need to check my leads and hopefully i'll be able to get my top 6000rpm back

    Something a bit different

I am taking an Ulyssian Ride on Sunday . Leaving Bomaby Autobahn at 10.30. Showing the Waikato Ulyssians a bit of Hunua. Some of the roads that we have ridden. Like the Gorge Road, Skyhigh, Twilight and West.
You are most welcome. Come along and mix with a totally different bunch of riders.

We will leave Bombay at 10.30 15th June.

Lou and I are doing a reccy on Sat. Yep, Maakz that is Lou, the one who chatted to you. (she is irresistible or was it Mellow Yellow?)

Would be keen to come along but am pretty booked on Sunday.

My black beast was out of commission this morning. It didn't wanna run for some reason. I'm gonna work on it when I get home and already have a few ideas as to what might be the problem from people in the General Maintenance section.

Won't lie – sucked having no choice but to jump back on the 250, but on the bright side it still beats riding the train..
