    6 is OK by me.

Its about time I did some leading (astray i would think and harden some balls)

I would also like to do some more TEC, enjoyed the TEC last trip (even though I had not much to do) It was interesting the styles used by the fellows in front.

Yes we could do the Maraetai loop or we could go longer, we can decide on the night.
If the new kid on the block arrives we can discuss what he would like to do. Because we currently dont know much about him, his ability (mine sucks) etc.

    How does that sound?

    More the merrier!

Feel free to come along. Neither Sis nor nzspokes will be there, who are both the people that 'officially' run SASS. I'm just wanting to get out riding whilst still on break.

Open to suggestions on where to go also. If it'll be the four of us I'll still be keen for the usual Maraetai, Sandstone, Regis Lane route. The regulars should be familiar with this route too so we can take turns leading.
I don't officially run nothing. I just turn up and talk crap.

Im currently in a tent in Rotovegas working out what MTB trails to hit tomorrow.

    you dont talk crap

hit all the trails you can, take the longer ones early, shorter ones later.

The Redwood forest is nice - should be cool in the shade.

Take some Witch Hazel if its pine pollen season for the eyes (trust me I know)

You know you wanna come along. Now that it's not an official SASS outing you can finally show off those wheelies you keep bragging about.

    I'm pretty sure you're at least second-in-command.

Let me know if you find any good ones. I'm hopefully heading down those ways close to Waitangi Day.

I've signed up for ART finally too. Group 2 for me this time. Fingers crossed there isn't as much traffic and I can actually keep up.

Invergigill its a nice town forgotten by most.
wheelies and the stoppies by horseback you mean

i will be there at 6, fueled and empty bladder as usual. Just goto put the bike back together. And get some fuel. Put the cleaned liner in. Lots of tasks to finish tomorrow , all good.

Kiwionwheels we we usually gather by the car washing machine.

what ever time everyone makes it will be fine, will wait till 7 if need to.
confirm trip when you get there. Would prefer longer trip, but it will be determined by your experience. I ant no instructor.

See you there, just a pootle.

Yes, its the same location as SASS meets. Z Takanini - corner Taka street and Great South Road Takanini

Look back for Tigadees post on SASS rides. He gives more info. Unlikely we will do the carpark, just a gentle ride (we dont have split balls)

F2dz is in 'control' of this one as he asked for it.

Remember it isnt a 'SASS' ride, but 'members' of SASS will be there, and it isnt a race. I feel like a slow pootle, its been a while since I rode.

Although you might like to step on it if your coming from the Netherlands and yes I have a dark side

Ok, I'll take 'control' as you say, but also as mentioned this is just a ride for those who want it. We'll be taking it easy and just enjoying the sun.

This is the route I reckon we should take: http://tinyurl.com/khrs6kg

I can lead from the start but the route should be fairly familiar for the regulars so someone else should be able to take the lead halfway along or so.
