The morning fog and sun strike has me driving very cautiously these days. Amazing how many people do not turn their lights on in the fog!

What's worse, they think they are visible because their vehicle is white or silver and never think that that's camouflage for fog!

Watched a few bikes (with envy) on the road today - SV1000 with bitchin' pipes that pop a flame everytime he blips his engine , a little Bandit 250 and a couple of cruisers...

Yes, beware white utes and hatch backs out the back blocks of Waikato in that thick miasma of early morning fog. Glen Murray SH22 etc. Almost ended up in the back of one that'd stopped in the middle of the road in thick fog not so long ago. Only made out the rear when the bastard decided to start up the ute and pump the lights.

They usually stop in pairs - to talk to each other. Lou encountered two cockies having a chat and blocking the road. They gave him a dirty look as he rode through the rough berm to get around them.

Wee trap for young players that one sis.
Once 22 or 23 years ago I was heading off for tech at silly o'clock in am I came around a corner in the thick fog. Suddenly there was a reflection off some chrome where there shouldn't be. Panicked I headed to the other side of the road... There a panicked cow cocky flicked his headlights on. I hit the brakes hard.
My skills weren't up to the task the back came around and I heard a blood curdling scream. That was me.
Realising my mistake I let off the brakes and aimed at the gap between them and thought skinny thoughts.
No idea how I made it but I did.

Lesson: cow cocky stopped in the road either means loose stock or he's catching up with a mate. Neither is good.

Stupid phone / Tapatalk, apologies in advance.

Should've rode through between them like Big Dog and taken out their mirrors while at it...
