There goes that , was gonna check it out tonight, but then discovered it was last night >_> ....
I liked how the carpark was wet last night. I locked up the rear wheel on purpose a whole bunch of times just to feel what it was like.... It was frickin' cool fun (in moderation, in a controlled environment, at slow speed yadda yadda).
Good times at the bar afterwards too, some good jokes
Yea was a good chance to practice in the wet, had some fun, see you guys next week
locking up the wheel on a tall bike (like mine) feels like your floating on a marshmellowy cloud, which is just freaky.
sure not doing that again, especialy on wet grass lol
Hey Cayman, when are we going to see you at SASS?
Hopefully we will see Cayman this Wednesday as he now knows SASS happens on a Wednesday (not Thursday)
Pretty fun night tonight! Hopefully that cop that was waiting behind you to turn on to the onramp didn't give you guys any trouble ..
Didn't notice the one behind us.
Noticed the one at the front of the lights
And we were peeved that he didn't get the red light runner that did a right hand turn in front of us and him.
Maybe his quota was full ..
Ah sorry guys, was really busy through this whole week. moving houses aint fun. I'll definitely be there from the start next wed
Last night's session was great. Can't get enough of that steering practice on the slalom-oval-track thing.
For those of you who weren't there, my headlight had blown low beam, after we had started our ride. I had Grashopperus in front of me and to save him from being blinded by high beam all the time, I dipped (no light) when the road was straight and there was no traffic.
I really enjoyed riding with out lights. Wasn't spooked at all. Didn't mean to give you any problems Grasshopperus. It was easy not to have lights, with the full moon and you in front, and Thaeos following.
Bought one of the newer lamps (I think they refer to them as blue ones).
You can't buy one, they come in pairs.
Apparently they are 40% brighter.
Hubby has put the other lamp into one of his headlights ( ZX has 2 headlights) and he is noticing the difference.
When I came home from Saturday's Compass ride, I did notice the headlight on the garage door seemed to be brighter, and that was in the daylight.
Will be able to see what it is like this Wednesday.
I might not be able to make it to tonight's one, crunch time has arrived for a pretty big assignment...
