Not the first or last time you'll hear that from I'm a lady I'm sure. Guy problems!

I figured out why my bike was handling so badly at low speed – was tyre pressures. They were embarrassingly low and I assumed the guy at Cycletreads checked them for me when he did the inspection but he didn't. My fault though, should've checked.

shucks mr gibbo...hooning is fun but costs eh....

Great to hear things are going well....aside from the odd extra expense...there b a few pairs of nice new gloves and a heated handgrip do-dacky in there somewhere...nextime come round here with a full wallet, jump on the xbox and u can hoon all u like....plus i'll give u a ticket and we'll head down to the toy shop and make that $ count....
Uncle b still in pieces so wont b joing u yall for a little while....trying to paint my tank n get rid of the rash....weather bot helping nor is my lack of skill or patience....trying to do it properly this time...bloody intrrnet too inspiring so confused as to what i'm wanting now...
So do heated grips really work? Sounds nice if not abit soft coz my hands really suffer....the trip from rotorua to opotiki was a shocker within 10 minutes...let me know how they work anyone coz maybe theyre worth the investment...

Second bike with them. On an unfaired bike you'll either need hand guards or good gloves with more insulation on the top than them bottom to get the full benefit below 5c. Above 14c or for shorter hops I normally wear summer gloves.
For the price they are bloody cheap and seem cheaper the more kms you get out of them.

Cheers! Just when I've got them well-trained to bring out the barrel of sauce for the chips too...

Rode to EMEX all three days. Found a nice shady spot for the Hornet too.

Was so nice cutting through traffic on the bike, saved soooo much time! So glad I don't work in the city though!

    Catch you aSASSins next week!

They definitely work. I don't use them all the time, but they certainly make a big difference when it's really cold. High will make them so hot that you wouldn't want to hold them with a bare hand while stationary. When you are riding they cool down really quickly if you're not holding them. I use a relatively light weight winter glove, and while the tips of a few fingers might get cold on the outside, the heated bar makes it really pretty comfortable. For less than the price of a decent pair of gloves, they are well worth it.

Cool....sounz good...what r the brands to go for and which wood u avoid?
I remember years ago my uncle had some on a triumphwhich melted his grips off at a 100 kph once. Not the best look when youre tooling down the road...

Oxfords are good and easy to fit with a good array of sizes to fit different bike styles. Sports are wider than classic for example.
Oxford do a set that Velcro over existing grips for the winter. Recommend you check the clearance between you grips and compressed levers before buying. I only sold 2 pair, both to people who wanted to return them because they could not effectively use the brake with them on. Both were warned to check this before buying.

Daytona are good but a little lower quality on the finish stakes and if you are not gentle on fitting one grip may be warmer than the other. ( or so said a customer who bought some who said they have had several sets before. )

I don't have any experience with any other commercial ones. But I have used oxfords for about 7-8 years.

There are plenty of do I yourself setups on the net. These carry a fair amount of risk with what you were talking about.

Simplest DIY instructions were in a Superbike magazine so could probably be found on their website.

see if you can get there early and check out any chances of getting a view inside the planes remember NOT doing this on the Anotonov?, Russian water transport plane at Mangere airport and have regretted since. This motorbike stuff is helping me get out there....

Yeah, I hear you, tyre pressures are very important!

check out what they ought to be, maybe different front - rear

I try and check pressures weekly and using the same gear, same time and temp - so results are similar.

Even a couple of psi stuffs up the powerful Scorpio

Got spare bulbs for scorpio headlight today, so may add another light to the machine you at SASS
