I think it was a sign last Tuesday as I was working. Sadly working this Tuesday also. If I finish Early I may swing by the car park see if yiu are there but I highly doubt it sadly. Who knows it may be stormy.

Still no sign of a storm so I guess we will be out and about on our bikes.

Hey y'all, been a long time. Sorry to have missed your company folks. Combo of work pressures and no bike up and running. Clutch karked it on MY and had to get IB road legal, ergo cash strapped lol. Talkabout priorities...food, bills, bike. Not sure if i'll make it back in time to grab IB and head to the meet spot, can someone text me when ya hit the watering hole? That may be an option but unsure at the minute. Have a good ride out if i don't catch yaz.

    Hi All

I will be back along in a short while, just sorting some of the house renovations and finishing off my IAM membership testing.

So here is a wee vid from Roadcraft Nottingham which I think is quite good. Keep in mind the laws between the UK and here are different. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3niqkN4u22I

And some tips on riding at night, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYqm...Qhe_MUgTA9-hNH

One thing that I was reminded of on a recent ride is to look out for the below. Pushing the bike down means the bike is leaning more than is needed. It can lead to a loss of traction.

I'm guilty of doing that occasionally. I assume that what I normally do is better. Lean out towards the apex shoulder lowered and looking at the vanishing point? I don't usually bother with half a butt cheek off the seat.

Great start to notice you do that. For the road at normal road speeds, I dont see the point in a full hang off. I find dropping the inside elbow useful. But for most road stuff, having your spine in line with the bike works.

I'll try the inside elbow next time I'm going out in the country. It'll be interesting to see what effect it has.

There will be no SASS tonight, just in case you thought that we might do some training in the rain. I think there is a chance of the rain becoming a bit excessive.

You will find that adventure riders do differ, and due to riding off/road / gravel, will push the bike down while staying on the high side (even on the road). I know I tend to do that, also makes a big difference in slow speed work, bike is too big to lean with it, need to get it on it's side beneath you
