1967 Yamaha YL1 twin jet two stroke twin

I i have recently been given the bike i learned to ride on, id like to get it running again as its been in the family ages ....... Im just wanting to know if anybody has any info, manuals, parts etc for a bike like this. id really like to put some expansion chambers on it evenutally, im told back in the day there was a "hot up" kit availble for them. One thing i do need is a kick start as that broke years ago. I remember the days when grandad would get home an id race to the shed to get a wiff of the two stoke fumes i love that smell to this day. Anyway any info as i said would be great

I've owned 2 of these before, one a 6V one and the other a 12V one. Mine were both 4 speeds.
I know a bit about them if you want to PM me.

    Yeeeeeehaaaaaaaa

Ive found a workshop service manual off www.e-classicbike.com. Oh an the kickstart hits the exhaust pipe so im gunna get that modded (not that it needs a massive kick ta start it running anyway) looking at getting the wiring redone, i got a mate whos a sparkie an he seems fairly keen.
