Okay... Details for the Friday (5th of Feb.) ride are as follows:

Meet at the Shell on SH 16 (Asti Lane, Massey North) at 9:30am, depart at 10. (Unless someone is running late - text me on 021-131-6854 or 0275-131-685)

Heading north on SH 16, through Helensville towards Wellsford. Get back on SH 1 southbound, heading back through Warkworth back to the North Shore, final stop one of the Mobil service stations on Wairau Road (cause its close to home for me!)

Assuming everyone is happy with this?

Also, it'd be great if everyone attending can tick the box saying so on the calendar event, so I know numbers to expect.

Good ride guys,it was fun!!

Unfortunately coming back there was a ute which had lost it's wheel,lot's of fecking rubberneckers!! Car in front stopped really quickly,so i swerved over to the left,but didn't go far enough over,so the end of my handlebar smashed his tail light,and scratched a big line half way down his car. I hope repairs wont cost too much! No damage to the bike tho...


I was bloody lucky i managed to swerve over,otherwise I would have gone right up the rear of his car.

Not sure,but it was just after Scott left the motorway,before esmonde road turn off i think.

The dude I hit was a former biker,so he was just glad i didn't hurt myself.
