Hero Honda continues to buck trends, reporting 79% increase in income

Hero Honda – India’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, part-owned by Honda – reported, once again, better than expected income results, with a 79% increase in 3rd quarter net income.

The company are even considering expanding production capacity. Pawan Munjal, CEO of Hero Honda said “We are expecting market demand to remain bullish.”

Expansion in India is being aided by their Central Bank keeping purchase rates low and the Indian government is assisting with tax cuts.
