    Honda Hornet 250 colour?

hey you guys I've finally finished the lil Honda Hornet 250 but I just can't get my head around the color it just doesn't look right . Its been painted I think mazda famila blue. Basicly I needed a color of some sort.
So given its a 2005 hornet with low KM what color do you think I should repaint it so it looks its best?

Red is the best colour for lil'ol'hornets. It makes them very distinctive and attractive to the eye! (Not that I am biased or anything! ) Go for Ferrari Red ... 'cause we know red ones go fasta!

    Oh, nice looking lil'ol'hornet!

Are you going to repaint it yourself? I have been thinking abut repainting my bike, but wasn't sure about the cost. I could probably manage to do the prep work myself, but would have to get someone else to do the spray. Have you costed it? Think my bike has about the same body area as your hornet.

Oh, and I'd say black, with some yellow pin-striping. Hornet style, and would match your rims.

Leave it as it is - I know that blue - nothing wrong with it at all.

All that is missing in my opinion is some 'detail' or accent. By this I mean presently it is all blue - nothing is breaking up the slap of tank - usually the Honda logo and wing will do this. Consider Honda-ing it again and maybe Horneting the sides of the tail-piece.

Or take the opportunity to do something slightly different - maybe a racing stripe over the top - white or silver would offer a big contrast, deep blue would be more subtle.

    Sample below as a idea.

If you don't like it repaint it in gloss metallic gun-metal.

Whack a turbo and some Subaru stickers on it and you'll be good to go!

to me, the only thing that looks wrong is a lack of decals. even a white Honda wing on the tank would make a great deal of difference. I quite like the colour, just break it up a tad with some simple white decals and she'll look mint

Don't forget the golden rims too.

My serious reply would have been exactly, this needs stickers.

What colour would you say the rims are now?
