Call Soda blasting NZ, they'll be able to sort you. BEar in mind, you'll need to replace the swingarm bearings while you're at it.

Dammit, why does everything have bearings in it are they going to be reasonably easy to source or am i going to be waiting around for 4 weeks for them to arrive from japan?

It would take a lot more than that to make an MVX awesome, in fact I am not even sure it is possible

Well it would be a start... actually, i'm sure a NS400R engine would make an MVX cool?

Holy shit that was scary... I just hope I remember where everything goes, or the photos are good enough quality.

Fully down to frame now (minus wheel/swingarm/steering head - because i can't get the fucking nuts off, I should probably buy the right tools to do it)

Will hope to get the rest off shortly then off to powder coating.

Just got a reply from them saying $400 for the blast + powdercoat... WTF??? Surely it can't be that much more expensive in Auckland?

Those swingarm bolts are a bitch mate. You need a 10 or 12mm impact allen key and a rattle gun for that shit. In fact, we needed Beaurepaires Truck stop guns and air to undo mine. they were FUCKING tight.

Looks like it's a 12mm, Only had a 10mm and was too small
Took everything off apart from the swingarm which I will hopefully get off within the next few days (Might end up taking it to a bike shop)

Still need to shop around for a powder coater though.

Yeah, $400 probably is about market rates. I think my guy in Upper Hutt has a bit of a deal with powder coater next door and they fling each other work.
