Google maps reckons 4 hours 45 from my place to Canvastown , 1pm for a beer sounds good.

Excellent, will have to pop next door at the pub and check out the scooters.

Hmm, not sure about Friday night yet, but at least I don't have to share with the dog. Will be catching up with the outlaws for G's birthday when we get there (just a wee hint in case you'd missed that off your calendar D), but doubt that will be a late night so that leaves the rest of Friday night and Saturday morning to sort out, then get set up for Saturday.

Of course mrs neels is coming along for the ride, but there shouldn't be too much to worry about, how much trouble could a couple of small leather clad bourbon drinking blondes really get into at a bike rally?

coming from your direction it's after Havelock, nice road between Havelock and the Trout, you'll love it!

Stop that cheek....the whole bottom of my house is garage land and seeing as it's home to the little Kawasaki your old Guzzi better be behaving or it shall be out the back!

Mr Bubbles the cat might give ya a wee snuggle but hey, this is Nelson, it's not cold!

LMFAO... we all in the shit when ya put it like that.

So Genie and I have just been chatting and the plan is (if it suits all) we set up at the camp Friday (small charge but hey the rallys only 20 bucks) head to Gennies to crash... Sat morn we will be handy to the Takaka highway, and when we get back to nelson our camp will already be set up.
