Have you ever owned a fast sportsbike Waylander? (You changing your name to Waylander reminds me of the "Napster" from the movie The Italian Job and how he wanted to be called that name . I think he rode a yellow 749 Ducati in that too?? )

Nah only owned two bikes. Same two I still have, rode Bugjuice's 636 though (not far and not out of second) and now I want one

Well swanman managed to con Mr F into taking it down the road for a quick 2min ride at Kaukop, without wheelying it I might add...or did he try one while he was outta sight? Suffice to say the bike was returned in one piece!
Mr Swanman orignally offered Baby R to swap the CB400 for his R1, Baby R was defintely shocked as she couldn't ride the R1.. so we told Swanman he could ride it up at kaukapakapa.

if swanman managed to get it up, I want to know how! hahaha.. Madguitarist and myself just changed the fork oil to a thicker oil and it handles much better now.

They don't make underseat storage like that anymore now do they? All those underseat pipes take away the storage! I should get a photo of the storage to show you all

Cheers for the photos KRAYY!! anymore photos??!??!??! i like photos!

Didn't your ZX-10's engine nearly seize going so slow up to Kaukapakapa?

Tell ya what though - thyey've got some high speed midges between Kaukop and Wellsford...

Cheers for the fun ride guys -I loved it although have to admit the more sedate pace on the way home was more to my liking (that WAS more sedate wasn't it... or did I get the hang of it a little more?!?)

Great to meet so many ppls too, beautiful day for it... let's do it again sometime.

Also, look out for a newbie to this site riding a Ducati (I missed the model). It was the guy filling the duc with the gun bag over his shoulder. I told him to look us up and his wife has just bought a GSX250 so it could be good to get them along.

I had a chat - hell of a nice guy

Yep I enjoyed the ride back. It made a real difference when I had a quick play with the rear preload and let some pressure out of the tyres. I especially enjoyed attacking the corners to get my knee down, to scuff up Mad Guitarist's new, shiny sliders.(Anyone got some sparky ones I can borrow)?

I need to do this again soon. Is there a ride this coming weekend? After this weekend I am going to the UK for a coupla weeks.
