To Robert and Dennis at Ohlins

I emailed Robert and Dennis this morning, but thought it should be in the public arena.

Just a huge thanks to these guys over the last three weekends at the nationals. They put in a huge effort for not only myself (including various spring, valving and oil level changes) but also for a huge percentage of the grids in each class. They will bend over backwards for pretty much any of their customers and even people who aren't regulars. Nothing ever seems like a major and they are always pretty free with information regarding setup.
Not only this but they are good guys who you can get on well with, and enjoy a drink with at timaru's finest eateries (you know what I mean Robert!).
They truely the backboneof the NZ race scene, without them I truely believe kiwis (and an aussie)wouldn't be as fast as they are.

Once again guys, thanks for all your help for the first half of the nats, I am looking forward to annoying you at the rest of the series!

    Ta!

Nice to see someone appreciating the work those guys do, I know the long hours and travel for often free work they do at the races takes it's toll personally - not to mention the long hours and great work they do at their home base.
I think a lot of people take the kind of work Robert and Dennis do for granted, along with a lot of other helpful people that donate their time (often at their own expense) to make race meetings run (in general) so smoothly.

Good on ya Maido, oh and those blokes with the pixie hut from CKT!

Yeah totally agree, no matter how innane a question I asked they were more than happy to ask. Multiple spring changes and re valving my shock along with plenty of advice a very big thanks. I was saying the other day, without them trackside I would have to buy at least another 6 springs (at a cost of who knows how much) to ensure I could have the setup for every track. Look forward to seeing them next time!
