    Inconsiderate filterlane hoggers

It has happned a couple of times now in the last two weeks. A rider on the motorway crossing the harbour bridge. Me behind him.

He was filtering, then decided that he did not want to anymore. So he slowed down and stopped filtering, but did not move out of the way. He moved slightly left, but was still in what what could be called in the filtering position. Now I appreciate that he might want to see what was coming down the lanes, but he could have done that on the left side as well. It kind of loolked like he wanted to keep his options open or something...

Now I see the decision to filter or not as a personal one, and I wanted to continue filtering. But this foow was not quite out of the way. I was not sure If I could go through, since it looked like he might start filtering again on a whim. And so it went for ages (until I had had enough and passed, but felt distinctly unsafe since I had no idea of the intention of the other bike).

So PLEASE, if you have finished with the lane, please show some consideration by showing some intent, use your indicator, and move over left/right. But don't hold everyone else back.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

I know she looks a hell of a lot like Jimy, but still a "she".

Or else I would feel violated- and not in a nice way..

Hi RS. Sorry to hear you are having a bad day. It accured to me that he may be a good bloke and that he could see the muffty car ahead of him.

Or he could just be a pain in the arse - but thats life.

At least you got to ride today.
Ride it until the wheels fall off...
