CANCELLED: Teretonga 7 March

John Smart from Southland Motorcycle Club advises that the event scheduled for 7th March is cancelled.

The Teretonga round of the South Island Cup will probably be contested at the already scheduled 18th April Meeting.

I was there on sunday too, is it just the southisland cup thats been cancelled? is there still a club day on the 7th ?

No the whole meeting is cancelled as i believe all the flag marshals are one social group of SMCC members and apparently going to the March Hare rally? No flaggies no race. I was talking to one of the flaggies on Sunday - they are a hard case bunch and absolutely love doing it. How old are your bikes? You could travel up to ChCh for the CAMS meeting on Sat 6th March instead.

HMM that doesn't suprise me, Kevin (who is marshall on dummy grid) wasn't keen for the 7th. Fair enough they do have a life outside volunteering there services for us lol. Cams would be fun but I have my sisters 30th on the 6th, now that there is no racing on sunday i dont have to worry about racing hung over lol! My wee bike is racing pre89's.
