Nice little ride tonight.... extremely leisurely pace indeed. Good to see novices getting out there and having a go at group rides.

Made it home ok.... got left behind a bit as we had to stop at the pedestrian crossing before Days Bay, but caught up and were right behind you at the lights at Avalon turning onto SH2 (we were 2 cars back from you guys - know it was you , I could smell the garlic )

Cath is still a bit nervous at 100 on the motorway though - not of the 100k, but of getting caught, so stuck to about 85 - 90k - so we lost you all again !

I'll bring mine around for you to polish, cheers mate.

As for the ride last night, it was quite cruisy, even contemplated over taking the Busa!!
    HHAAHAHA that would've looked hilarious!

Left you all at BP in Wainui so didn't come over to Eastbourne, but was good none the less

A very enjoyable evening ride last night - ride report link at bottom here.

Next Wednesday will be the penultimate Tuesday Ride. The programmed ride takes us from the Duckpond over the Haywards down SH1 to Johnsonville and then out to Makara. My thoughts are to take the ride only as far as Makara Beach and then return to the Inn at Johnsonville, that we have been to previously.

As briefly mentioned last night there may be ‘An End Of Daylight Saving Sunday Ride on 28th March' and this can be finalised next Tuesday evening. I will put up a few suggestions in this Tuesday forum thread shortly.

Finally, Tueday 30th March, this will be a short 30 minute ride to a ‘food destination - particularly for those who enjoy garlic aroma in their helmet’ and an opportunity to talk about the rides program just completed and generally to look ahead through winter and whatever weekend rides you may want to arrange between yourselves – and by all means use the KB Calendar and Forums.

It was nice to follow the pace for the 20 mins or so, but have a long way to go home, so had to bypass the social side. At least i now know where the duckpond is.

Enjoyable ride and a good turnout.

Iridium visor waaay better (but not brilliant) for riding at night.

Yeah yeah, whatever you say mate!!!
Although, when you did turn the engine on you blitzed down the road, thought you might have coughed or
something and "accidentally" twisted the throttle. Wish the lil ol'250 had that kind of pick up from 80k....

And the chap with the CBR600, What a sweet sound it was when you left!

Hate to see it leave, love to hear it go...
