I will see how the weather is between 4pm and 5pm and decide then.

If I decide not to ride tonight I will post in this forum.

you're not going back to being a cage rider right?!

what bike are you getting, and why sell the keeway?

is the tuesday ride always going from avalon park to caltex station ETA 6.50? If so, I probably can make the rides. Getting out of classes at 6.30 sucks.

Neshi, there is only one ride that will go to caltex in Kaiwharwhara/Ngauranga this month - that is next Tuesday 9th March. See Calendar Here

Ah not too far away now. I can get my full on the 10th April once I have completed my defensive riding course. Looking at listing the bike super soon as I know it's going to be hard to sell. Many have been sitting on trade me for AGES.

Hahaha a GSXR1100 you say? Mmmmm not quite the direction i was heading, but stranger things have happened. I'm open to test riding all sorts to at least say I've tried before I buy.

No rain in Wellington yet - and I left the bike at home. Grrrr perhaps I'll skive off work 2 horus early to go get it, if this weather holds up.

Haha, well Suzy woul look great under ya bum but yeah, bit too much of a jump methinks
Hawkeyes selling a CB500, that would be a good next step for ya if you commute daily!

Been a few passing light showers but nothing that even made the road shiny as yet, your ride tonight might be on after all.

Light rain here in Hutt, would it be a go to head up the coast through Plimmerton and back home up the hill from the Paekakariki side? Just thinking it would be good experience for the newer riders to do a light rain without having to deal with downhill corners in the wet. Uphill cornering is less challenging for noobs.

I didnt say WELLINGTON darling, I said HUTT. Cheeky blighter.

Point Im trying to make is that the weather is not too extreme and its good for riders to ride in all weather. No telling when one will get caught out so might as well get in a bit of practice.

Weather radar looked good 4.35pm. So unless it hoses down which appears unlikely (the sun is shining now) it will be a go.

Planned ride from Duckpond over the Haywards Hill around inlet on Greys Road right at SH2 (optional turnaround point at Paekakariki) upto Raumati - Waterfront Cafe & Bar. Ride ends there.

Personal choice if people elect to ride over Paekakariki Hill.
