Love it, LOL, and despite the language barrier, the Ole Bloke looks as pleased as punch with himself. He should get a B King - would fit just right lol

    Crazy or resourceful?
Space is at a premium back in the old home country.
16.5 million people in an area about one seventh the size of NZ (an area a little smaller than Canterbury).
Yet amazingly there is enough nature left to have wild deer roaming around and to make Holland the worlds third largest exporter of agricultural goods.
When I grew up we lived in a 2 storey house, 6 mtrs wide x 8 mtrs long. This had 4 bedrooms. Our backyard measured a wopping 6 mtrs x 4 mtrs. Just big enough for my dad to build me an electric go kart which I could ride around on, literally.......round and round in circles.

    Ai.
I had to watch it a couple of times because I thought he talked so funny.
He talks in a slang. Every area in Holland has it's own slang. In some cases you can even differentiate which town someone is from.
Hence the translation scrolling down the bottom of the screen in Dutch, so the crazy dutchies can understand their own countrymen.

Wink Flanders is not in Holland...

just letting you know, this man is from Flanders (in Belgium, not the Netherlands).
but it's true there are a lot of dialects in Flanders.

despite all the positive reactions, the old man got fed up with the massive response and attention he got. it was originally filmed for a small daily entertainment program that has a topic where they show common people in a ,each week a different, town in Flanders.
