So the SUV driver has no claim against your bike insurance as you were not on your bike when you attacked and vandlaised his vehicle?

Glad you're OK though. Could have been an unfortunate day spoiler.

You're in good company, currently, it seems to be all the rage to get cleaned up by a train while crossing the tracks using an iPod

Possibly so. But then again, if I had the helmet off, I would have wider field of vision and also would have had the earplugs out so would've heard the great snorting gas guzzling engine and not stepped in front of it...maybe...

Given my current financial situation, that might not be such a bad idea...

Another good reason, at least for me, is so I dont get called Sir by the nice young bait that usually works at these places. Have an ongoing discussion with a nice young man at one of my local gasup's about his first conversation with me.....He did apologise but still gets redfaced and looks bashful when I ride up. Damn it, not my fault Im so tall and the jacket hides my curves.

I did something very similar a few weeks back, got off the bike, took my gloves off & turned around straight into a car that was squeezing past. Lot's of big OH! expressions. No peripheral vision or sound. No damage either.Phew.
