    As part of my job i use 3d cad so I drew the house and then lit the missus loose

    it amazing she ( I suspect women ) have no concept of distance , 200mm has nothing to do with the color of the kitchen unit

    but in all honestly it sved a bit of dosh

    I use a Quick sketch type program that allows me to move stuff around really quickly to get a feel for what it will look like

    Why is there a skeleton in the first pic? Did it fall out of the closet?

    Looks OK to me. The steel bracing in NZ and Oz is crap! In the Kawerau quake in the late 70's, the only house to collapse were the steel braced ones.... Ply and timber are the way to go.
