My biggest adrenalin buzz was the two seconds that preceded me sticking my ST1300 into the back of a RAV4 that was reversing at me in a passing lane. I now know that that wasn't the taste of death. Quite.

Paraglider crash. Some helpful person (Shane Tims) adjusted my harness so once I was airborne I couldn't get seated in it whatsoever. I was left hanging upside down with 1,000ft of air below me, using only my stomach muscles to hold me upright, all the time trying to explain my problem on the radio. Eventually I declared an emergency and throw the radio and fight the glider to the ground and crash it into a ridge. Walked back to the car and drove straight him. Mr Tims gets censured from the disciplinary committee. I nearly died that day, and I felt it every second of the trip down.

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
"Wow, Great advise there DB."
WTB: Hyosung bikes or going or not.
At 6yo in Canada - a bear came bounding, as they do, through the woods where us kids were tobogganing.... we done shit ourselves (bear in the woods joke here somewhere)
At 8yo on ship from Canada to Aus - we were running along the deck & I slipped on the wet boards & slide, ending up with my legs over the edge.
At 18yo in ocean where the Maroochydore River lets out - GF & I were swimming 10 metres off shore when a 6ft shark brushed my right leg.
In 2004 (?) - 91m up, working on top of the spire crosses on the St Pauls Cathedral, in Melbourne. Walking up & down 40mts of external scaffolding, then working with no harness. I was taking pics for metal condition report & had to have 2 guys stand on a foot each, to stop me getting blown over (strong winds up there). Too funny
2009 racetrack - sidecar swinging. Last lap of 3rd set. Full bore out of the straight, up around the right hander, stretched too far over on long bike, right hand hugging next to exhaust, too much Gforce on me as I try to move & tuck back in. Lose hold on left hand. I got stuck where I was with only one hand under the bottom of the fairing a couple inches from the track & one leg in the air. Shoot up the back straight, still unable to move, stomach muscles tighter then a springboard. Another right hander & we slow down for chicane, finally able to re-position. Fucking Awesome!
My first ride was pretty cool. Still remember that. Tiger 100.
First time on a horse was pretty amazing too.
First parachute jump.
First salmon.
First fuck.
Seeing my eldest the the first time at birth. That was a the best buzz of all
Nearly falling into the pool of boiling water. Pure fear. Not a nice feeling I can tell ya when there is every chance you may die and not be able to do a the about it. A life altering experiance.............................still.
