It appears your Ariforce didn't have the same rules as ours.

G-Suits are for high G's, yes.... And As the Aircraft was capable of 7.33G (Self imposed 6.0G limit by RNZAF), then our pilots ALWAYS wore them.....
Ours were the ealier model MB326 and MB328KC's. Ours also had Rolls Royce Vipers, can't remember exactly which but know they were prone to the occasional flameout. As we where only target towing and I was only along for the ride I was not required to wear a G-suit.

    Would be the 632.....
All vipers that were installed in the Macchi were prone to Flame Out.
Quite often this was caused by one intake being sheltered by the fuselage... Or, just the relative airflow angle of attack down the intake was incorrect....
Or, even just water being chucked down there by the nose wheel....

So, yeah, speaking of Adrenalin.... My mate actually had to eject out of one after it suffered a bit of Foreign Object Damage before Take off....

Must say, it was actulallly exciting enough watching the HUD tape....

Ye had to pick up the aftermath of one that flamed out during take off in a heavy downpour , pilot got out okay thanks to Martin Baker and his zero, zero seat.

Standing on the piano keys in the pitch black of night as an emergency flight landed on kerosene lantern lit runway.

Bouncing along in the back seat of some poxy twin engined Cesna , Middle of winter heading to Palmy with ice built up and all windows iced over , then the two engines power down !
Luckily it was a Pilot error not an engine failure so we stayed up in the air. I swear that the book he had open on the seat next to him was "flying crappy planes for dummys".

The Lightening strike one day in the Taranaki that was about 100 meters away was just plain Pants shitting stuff.

The close encounter with 240 volts just threw me on the floor dazed ,

Falling while cleaning windows on second floor of house was only a short rush .

Riding out the effects of Hurricane Anita in the gulf of Mexico, dipping the bridge wings, spending most of the run "in the green room", and having to sleep fully dressed with life jackets beside the bunk. All on a 7500 ton general cargo ship.

Swinging out on the boom for my first helicopter winch ride down through the bush canopy in ' NZ tiger country' to crashed smouldering chopper, followed by the most intense feeling of relief as my feet hit the ground. Sitting strapped in the co pilots seat in an Army Helicopter doing aerobatics in NI during 'the troubles' and then fast low flying at less than 50 ft to avoid detection.

Yes doing stall turns, auto rotations and low level flying sure can be fun in a chopper.

AAC heli? Too rainy for the RAF??
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

Yeah, when you could get them out the bar.

    "It's a bit wet"
    "It's a bit cold"
    "It's a bit dark"

They always had some excuse to not pick you up when you've been out for a couple of weeks freezing your tits off.
