I do believe there is also quite a pressure in a lot of Island churches for monetary giving, and it's quite a "status" thing rather than a private offering of worship.

Regretfully so, some of the poorest are under the pressure of 'name' to give more than they can afford. But one would hope that exposing the greed of such persons as these may help the gullible to see the truth.

    Offerings shouldn't be forced.

What a shame to the religion.

Mmmm, guess what though... that's only the declared donations, the river of money is considerably deeper than that. If those amounts surprise you, you don't want to know what else is going on.

thought church was supposed to be about communing with God and praise and worship not lining another man's pockets' with gold. I've seen it in my own life and gave up church for that reason. All out for their own glory.....the more material effects they have the more they feel glorified. Sick, and yet in their very own communities are people struggling to make ends met.

... if it didn't have to keep handing over compensation to the children the priests had been molesting!
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

I feel a need to start a church. Reliable cash flow, tax breaks, no rates. Intimidating your members by fucking with their heads. Sounds perfect.

"Bishop Hitcher" has a nice ring to it too. One could get used to that. Very used to it...

Today at school I met this guy called 'James' but he wasnt no ordinary student. This is straight from the horses mouth, excuse the swearing.

    I asked him.

"James, do you beleive in God"

    "No!"

    "Why not?"

"Because he's a faggot with all this injustice going on, give me 10 minutes in a ring and I will knock him out"

    ahahahaahhaahahah bahahaahahaha

Is there a single religion in the world that is self funding? That takes no money from it's members, but pays them to attend? That produces products and services for sale to the general public to fund it's cause. This is not a facetious comment,I just wonder if there are such religions.
