They're a little less expensive where I'll be car shopping in a couple of months:

The TVR's certainly a contender, along with the Jag XK8 and also the Porsche 928GTS.

    The Mrs won't be happy

    But I will

on another note, think those that thought my head needed reading for wanting to put a TR6 engine into a stag were right, THIS is what needs to go into it, mind you it would need the engine and all running gear... it is Brit but, what is it people?
Well, there's only one lot I know of who make pipes on a Rover like that... and it's already been said the mighty Trevor... err TVR sorry

rather impresive set up reallyI asume as there is no room for the pipes to exit out the back or straight down and or maybe it gives them the tuning length they need... a yellow stag on tardme recently had s similer set up as it had a 4.4 in the bay, same reasoning I spose.

I'd say it's a space issue, I've seen in a Griffith engine bay and they don't seem to e equal length.
Or, for the fact that it looks bloody excellent

Very true and glad you enjoyed it - but they were having a great deal of fun in the name of motoring journalism... and in conditions that were less than ideal but they were wearing duffel coats!

Even a bit of axle tramp seen... always wondered if he was the old bloke who lived rough in the park over the back from the family home!

Wonder if today's motoring journos would venture forth into such conditions?

My daughter is taking part in a photogaphy contest, with the topic of "motion". She got me out in the Jag for a freebie photoshoot...

Number 5 would be my favourite. Some ingenious phototrickery used to get the shot.

Aye. For an amateur, she's producing really professional results. She's more of a "people" photographer - babies and weddings mainly.
