Yes they are all fairly pricey, I really like the Morris Cowley on there.

Yes, that is just sooooo much classier.

What happened? Why did the next gen become so tacky?

That is very nice. I am surprised it gets a warrant with those hubcaps though, they look like something off of get smart.

Did anybody watch Talking trucks last night. There was a good story on an old Leyland beaver prime mover, and have been trying to find it on line but no joy. I cant record cue tv, and it is not on bill hohepas website. Anybody got any ideas on where I could look.

Can't wait to get to Dunners, and the South Island in general, classic car and gun territory

I'd park that 1100 up my driveway!

I really should stop enjoying my sensible, comfy, quiet and boring Volvo, flog it off and buy something

I'd really like an Escort, but I can't afford a reasonable one at the moment and it'd be getting a mild Pinto as soon as poss with a Sierra 5 speeder.

Or, buy another bike! But it's KB, so I won't talk about that

I've driven all three of those. The Metros rusted worse than any other car in its class. The later Rover ones were very good.

The SD1 was my dream car. I loved the Midnight Blue. They were the UK Police car of the time. A mate of mine, who was a cop, told me they were crap and took me for a drive in his 280,000 mile patrol car (without handcuffs). It was quite rattly and didn't run so well, but 280k miles = around 450km, which is not bad going.

I'd jump at the chance of a Vanden PLas version though

    Not this one though: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used...-591627862.htm

Honda's Unicam has 4 cam lobes for a single cyl - the SD1 has 6 cam lobes, one for each cyl.
