Quote Wiki "The Marmon truck was a low-production, handmade truck sometimes dubbed the Rolls-Royce of trucks. An overcrowded American truck industry and the lack of a nationwide sales network led to the eventual failure of Marmon trucks in the USA. The last Marmon was made in 1997, and the production facilities in Garland, Texas, were taken over by Navistar’s Paystar division."

So if Western Star and Navistar are related, maybe Western Star is a rebadged Marmon...
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Herrington was a 4x4 conversion. I once drove an old International with a 4x4 conversion (AS130 I think, I had owned an AS110) It was a 3 point turn, maybe even 5 point to do a right hand turn out of a side street.

I drove a 1968 1200c spray truck for a little while, that was bloody hard work. Heavy as anything, noisy, smelly, loved it.

Cool piece of vid that dangerous. Although seeing the ford county down at the bottom of the hill brings back a few scary memories. I rolled one into a gully when I was 15 and it scared me that much, I had a wee accident If you know what I mean. They are not good around the sides of hills I learnt.

Crab and Rover have made it to Dunners, big thank you to Virago and Glen for the help in shifting everything into our house.

Need to sort out her brakes and drives interior handle now (delivery company buggered that one up).

Also I see petrol is at record highs again, so what sort of alternative sources are out there? I've seen a Wolseley that's been converted to electric, would be sweet if one could get a 120km/h out of it and have the range.
